Cyber + Electromagnetic Defense Engineer (m/w/d), 80-100%

WHAT YOU DO

  • Analyze and assess electromagnetic systems and communication protocols
  • Design and develop tools for signal analysis, automation and electronic defense use cases
  • Take ownership of measurement, analysis and research tasks depending on your experience level
  • Collaborate with academic and industry partners and contribute to innovation initiatives
  • Share knowledge within the team and support continuous technical improvement
  • Contribute to secure, sovereign and mission-critical systems in a national security context

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Hands-on experience in signal processing, RF engineering or related technical fields
  • Knowledge of VHDL and C++ for hardware and embedded systems development
  • Experience working with SDRs, spectrum analysis and RF measurement setups
  • Programming skills such as Python for automating technical workflows
  • Analytical mindset, curiosity and a structured way of working
  • Excellent English language skills; German is a plus
  • Swiss citizenship or eligibility for national security clearance
